Chemical Resistance
Fully cured coat has an excellent resistance to seawater, sewage water, ground water, sewage
 gases, diluted acids and alkalies, salt solution, mineral oils and fats.
 
GUIDE FOR APPLICATION
Preparation
Concrete surface should be sound, clean and free from any dust, loose particles, oil, curing compound and greases. Concrete age should be 28 days at least.
For steel surface, any rust should be removed by blast cleaning to near white metal, Swedish Standard Sa 2 ½.
 
MIXING 
Stir well both tins (resin and hardener) before mixing. Mix the entire contents of hardener and resin of POLYCOAT ET using a slow speed electric drill fitted with a mixing paddle for 3 mm., until a uniform and homogeneous consistency is achieved.
Partial mixing on site is not allowed.
 
Coating
POLYCOAT ET could be applied by brush, lambs wool roller or by airless spray equipments. Apply number of coats needed to reach the required thickness. Allow 15 hrs. between coats in Nell ventilated areas.
To achieve maximum adhesion, apply consecutive coat between 15 - 40 hours. If more time elapses between coats, then preceding coat must be roughened.
 
CLEANING
Tools should be cleaned with SOLVENT
 
PACKAGING
POLY COAT ET is supplied in 24 kg. packs (two components)..
 
COVERAGE
Theoretical: 
2.00 m2/ kg for 350 microns   D.F.T 
Practical : may be lower than the theoretical depending on method of application & substrate porosity.
 
Number Of Coats: 2-3 
Depending on application method to reach the recommended thickness.
 
STORAGE
 
POLYCOAT ET should be stored in cool dry shaded areas.
 
SHELF LIFE
One year when stored as recommended.
 
HEALTH AND SAFETY 
·   Any splashes on skin should be washed with soap &water.
·   Seek medical assistance in case of contact with eyes, after washing it immediately with running water.
