DESCRIPTION & USES

• POLY UNOSHIELD PUTTY is a high quality heavy-duty putty based on acrylic co polymer with excellent Filling & hold out properties.

• It is for Exterior & Interior use.

• Gives smooth and strong surfaces.

• Ready to use without any additives.

• Easy to sand, good adherence to smooth substrates e.g. fair- faced concrete and excellent workability

• Environment friendly, contains no added lead, Chromium VI, mercury or arsenic.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface preparation:

• Surface must be clean, free from oil, grease, dirt, chalk,   efflorescence, loose paint & any contamination.

• Old painted surfaces should be cleaned first from all loose paint and other materials that can affect adhesion.

• Absorbent substrates should be moistened with water and sealed.

• Concrete, plaster and masonry surfaces should be fully cured for at least 4 weeks before application.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Application:

• Use POLY SEAL PRIMER for priming purposes.

• POLY UNOSHIELD PUTTY to be applied with no further additions.

• Surface must be completely dry between successive coats (minimum 2 hours drying time according to humidity and temperature).

• In case more than 10 mm layer thickness is required, it is advisable to apply two layers, with 24 hours interval (or less according to temperature) between each layer.

• Substrate should be sanded and then apply the appropriate paint.

• The use of a primer/sealer coat from (POLY SEAL PRIMER) after puttying and before painting is recommended in order to increase spreading rate of finish paint.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
