Guide for Application
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil, grease and loosely adhering particles
Cement laitance should be removed mechanically.
Priming
The prepared surface should be primed with POLIPRIME EP (see separate data sheet).
Mix two components of the primer and then apply with roller or stiff brush. If the substrate is too porous, two coats of the primer are recommended.
Mixing
POLYFLOOR EP SL is supplied in Base +Hardener + Filler + Colour pack.
Mix the base and hardener components with the colour pack in the mixing container using a slow speed electric drill.
Add the filler slowly while mixing, mix for 5 minutes until homogenous consistency is achieved.
Application
Pour the mixed materials onto the prepared and primed substrate.
Spread the required thickness using a toothed trowel or comb.
After lying the materials use a spiked roller to distribute evenly and remove entrapped air.
CLEANING
Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with POLYSOLVENT EP.
Important Recommendations
Minimum age of concrete should be 28 days; humidity of substrate should be less than 5%.
The temperature of the substrate should be between 1O°C and 35°C.
PACKAGING
POLYFLOOR EP SL is supplied in 22.900 kg pack.
COVERAGE
POLYFLOOR EP SL approximately covers 4.0 m2 at 3 mm.
thickness per 20 kg pack.
STORAGE
POLYFLOOR EP SL should be kept in a temperature between 5°C to 35°C.
