COMPOSITION
Polyfloorhard-F is a blend of graded synthetic mineral aggregates modified with polypropylene fibers, cement, plasticizers and special additives to provide a material which is easy to trowel to achieve a non porous, hard wearing abrasion and chemicals-resistant floor finish.
USES
Industrial areas subjected to heavy traffic (Workshops, garages, chemical factories, warehouses, shipyards, docks)
Power stations, car wash areas and aircraft hangers
Food processing units, detergent and household manufacturing units, ...etc
FEATURES
Economical, easy to use and premixed
Resistant to industrial chemicals, oils, grease
Wear and tear, abrasion and impact resistant
Ideal for interior and exterior locations

APPLICATION
Base Concrete pre-requisites
The base concrete should have a minimum
slump of 75 - 100 mm . The concrete mix
should be laid and compacted in accordance with good concrete practice and care for the edges and corners. The concrete mix should be designed to minimize segregation and bleeding.
Polyfloorhard-F Application
Polyfloorhard-F should be applied as it to fresh concrete by dry shake method. It should be applied when light foot traffic leaves an imprint of 3 - 6 mm on the concrete surface.
The application is carried out as follows:
1- Carry out the first broadcast amounting to 2/3 of the specified quantity on the concrete surface. When the broadcast material absorbs moisture from the base concrete, it becomes dark in color. It is then surface treated with the wooden or power float machine.
2- Immediately apply the second cast evenly on the surface by spraying it in a directions perpendicular to the first application. When the surface absorbs moisture it should be floated thoroughly.
3- The final finishing can be carried out with a power float when the floor has stiffened sufficiently to withstand the mechanical weight.
BAY EDGES
Extreme care and attention should be given to bay edges and corners as they endure heavy wear and impact.
a- Immediately after leveling the fresh concrete, sprinkle Polyfloorhard-F by hand at a rate of 7 kg/m2 in strips of 10cm width alongside the bay edges (i.e. 0.5 kg/running meter).
b- Immediately after leveling the fresh concrete, remove a wedge of concrete 10 mm deep at the edges, then apply a stiff mass of Polyfloorhard-F mixed with clean water. This must be fully compacted to the base concrete. The reinforced areas will be further strengthened when subsequent full application is completed.
COVERAGE
3 Kg/m2 for light traffic.
5 Kg/m2 for medium traffic.
7 Kg/m2 for heavy traffic.
PACKAGING
Polyfloorhard-F is supplied in 25 kg double-layered bags.
STORAGE
Store under cover away from direct sunlight and protect from extreme temperatures.
SHELF LIFE
Up to 12 months if stored properly per recommendations above.
CURING
Polycure R.B. is recommending for use for all types of concrete floor curing.
CLEANING
Any remains or spillage can be removed with water.
HEALTH & SAFETY
As with all construction chemical products, caution should always be exercised. Always use protective clothing such as gloves and goggles, and treat any splashes to the skin or eyes with fresh running water immediately. Should any of the products be accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting, but call for medical assistance immediately.
